Lyft Auto Tunes

A quintet of undercover Lyft cars that performed grammy-nominated songs on the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan, using car horns as music notes.

Modified five vehicles for sound & lighting effects. Built custom wireless controllers to sync audio and lighting between vehicles while driving. Choreographed light show by hand and wrote a custom MIDI interpreter. Ran for four days of video shooting on the streets of NYC.

Each car had hidden speakers under factory bodywork, added lighting effects, and a modified Lyft Amp on the dashboard.
