Paintball Sentry Gun

A paintball turret that aims on its own, and shoots at anything that moves.

This Gladiator III turret was built as a training tool for RealWorld Tactical training. The turret is built from machined aluminum and steel, and driven by precision stepper motors. A powerful embedded computer tracks targets using an HD camera.

I built and sold several of these systems for use as training tools. The open-source code and custom controller hardware is used for training by the St. Louis Police Dept and the Royal Australian Navy, among others.
