Particle Cloud

A responsive light sculpture in three planes.

I designed and built two steel UX panels, and helped fabricate and assemble 200 square feet of acrylic LED panels. Strips were laid on both sides of routed acrylic, and staged in three depth planes to create an abstract holographic effect. I mapped live generative art onto the cloud of LEDs, to create a dynamic light sculpture that responded to attendees’ actions.

The particle cloud was installed at Gartner 2017.
