Time Garden

A herb garden that used employee time-entry to water individual plants.

Our team designed and built an octagonal planter, with a circular watering system based on a rotating spigot and a shallow cone with troughs. A wifi-enabled microcontroller communicated with the timesheet server, and controlled a stepper motor, pump, and valve to direct water to a plant.
